Bay Area Events ("this app") is a personal project built and operated by Jonathan Chong. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it's used.
With your permission, the app reads event data from your Google Calendar using the calendar.readonly scope. It does not request write access, and does not create, modify, or delete anything on your calendar.
Calendar event data (titles, times, locations, descriptions) is combined with events gathered from public sources (Eventbrite, Meetup, venue websites, etc.) to build a personal events digest and archive, used only by the account owner.
Data is stored locally in a private database on infrastructure controlled by the app's operator. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
You can revoke this app's access at any time via your Google Account permissions page. To request deletion of any data already collected, contact the email below.
